I would recommend you do a USSF License. If I am hearing correctly USSF will no longer accept NSCAA Licenses as equivalents to theirs. I think there is a vote on it this weekend at the US Soccer AGM but may have already passed the board of US Soccer so its more of a formality at this point. As of right now to coach in the Development Academy you have to have a B License (I am 90% sure that is accurate) which would mean if you had the old NSCAA equivalent it would no longer count toward that.

Hello my name is Devin Rairdon. I just moved to the Kirkland WA area from Denver CO. I currently just coach a few teams here. I have been coaching since I was 14 when I worked with goalkeepers along side the director of goalkeeping at the club I played at and that’s how I got my first start into coaching. Its now been 16 years and I have loved every minute I have spent coaching. I work with a few other programs for soccer here in the Pacific Northwest but I am glad to get involved with a community of like minded coaches. I am for sure way behind on getting on here and introducing myself and getting involved but hope to be able to jump in more now.
Thanks Brian and Gary for everything you have done and are working on for the future.
