Obviously not every session is the same, but what does a typical session look like? What do you do? How long do you do it for? Do you do the “playing out of back” routine every time? Attacking patterns every session?
Do you do your warm up and straight into the S pattern or into Rondos? Do you switch it up?
Just curious how you guys put together your training sessions.
A typical session for me looks like this for my U10s and U14s…
Rondos (20 min)
Positional Possession Games (20min)
Tactical Training (20 min)
Phase Play (20 min)
Scrimmage (10 min) – if enough numbers.
U12 girls:
Technical Base Circuits (oriented to conditioning/strength preseason then speed/agility in-season) – 20 minutes
Rondos – 20 minutes (4v1, 3 v1 or double rondo)
Tactical training (build out of the back, attacking patterns etc…) – 30 minutes
Alternate possession game and scrimmage – 20 minutes
